The Gardenia E. JanssenAnimal Shelter hours of operation are as follows: open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday for all normal operations.On Monday, the shelter is closed to the public but staff is on-site for animal care from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Bishop Emeritus David Fellhauer of the Diocese of Victoria passed away on Tuesday night, March 3 at age 86. He served the diocese as bishop for 25 years before retiring.Vigil and funeral Mass will be held at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Victory in Victoria.

A couple of years ago a congressman from New York pulled the fire alarm on his way to vote on a bill in support of Israel. He did not like this bill and he wanted to delay a certain vote in favor of our ally.
