Debbie Bujnoch

Debbie Bujnoch was born on Aug. 23, 1953 to Vernon and Margaret Havrda. She was the oldest of five children. She attended Ross Sterling in Houston and graduated high school in 1971. Debbie started her career at Exxon Mobile, later finding her passion in the legal field. Her career was spent as a legal assistant for over 30 years.

Debbie welcomed her oldest son Brett Thompson in 1979 and later her youngest, Wesley Thompson in 1981, while living in Cuba, New York. She spent the boys’ childhood in Houston, between the boys activities and her career. Later she decided to move closer to family and resided in Schulenburg, where she later met and married the love of her life Danny Bujnoch on June 15, 2002. She lived her life to please everyone, especially her grandkids.

Survivors include her husband, Danny Bujnoch of Schulenburg; mother, Margaret Havrda of Schulenburg; sons, Brett Thompson and wife Dana of Katy and Wesley Thompson and Brandi Barker of Katy; step-daughters, Brittany Daniel and husband Craig of Lufkin and Taylor Bujnoch of Eagle Lake; sisters: Pam Besetsny and husband Robert of Schulenburg, Cindy Deis and husband David of Houston, and Laura Machac and husband Jackie of Schulenburg; brother, Tim Havrda and wife Dellyn of Schulenburg; grandchildren, Peyton, Bryleigh, Brayden, Draven, Ty, Kayleigh, Caul and Audi Skye; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Vernon Havrda, and stepson, Trey Bujnoch.

She passed away on Friday, Oct. 26.

Visitation began at 5 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 29, with the parish rosary recited at 7 p.m., at Schwenke-Baumgarten Funeral Home.

Funeral services were held at the St Rose Catholic Church on Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2018 at 10 a.m. Burial followed in the St. John Catholic Cemetery in St. John.
