Police Report

Schulenburg Police Chief Troy Brenek reports that officers responded to 82 calls for service and eight reportable incidents were investigated during the week of July 23-29.

Included were one burglary of motor vehicle, one accident, three thefts, one disturbance, two assaults, one burglary of building and one illegal dumping.

•July 23 – Officer Lipsanen responded to the 700 block of North Kessler in reference to the burglary of a motor vehicle.

•July 24 – Officer Lara investigated an accident in the 400th block of Paulus Street.

•July 25 – Officer Lipsanen responded to Frank’s Restaurant parking lot in reference to the theft of tires.
Officer Lipsanen responded to the 700th block of Anderson Street in reference to a disturbance.

•July 26 – Officer Lipsanen responded to the 900th block of Baumgarten in reference to stolen bicycles.
Officer Lumsford met with a complainant at the Police Department in reference to assault.

•July 27 – Officers Hengst and Weiser responded to the 500th block of Anderson in reference to the burglary of a building.
Officer Lumsford responded to Schulenburg Food Mart in the 300th block of Kessler Avenue in reference to theft.

•July 28 – Officers Weiser and Hengst responded to the 100th block of East Paulus for illegal dumping.

•July 29 – Officer Lumsford responded to Sengelmann Hall parking lot in reference to assault.

Correction to last week’s police report

•July 20 – Chad Kusy of Schulenburg was only charged with DWI and not possession of dangerous drugs.
