Literary Club has program on financial preparedness

The Schulenburg Literary Club met on Feb. 11 at noon in the Schulenburg Public Library.Hostesses Debra Blansitt, Nina Howard, Connie Kocurek and Tricia Marty prepared a special luncheon using recipes from former presidents (and first ladies).

‘Walk Across Texas’ starts March 9 in Fayette County

Fayette County’s eight-week “Walk Across Texas!” program will start on Sunday, March 9, and is designed to help participants create healthy habits, lower the risk of disease, meet new friends and achieve 2025 health goals.The top three individual participants will receive gift cards.
