After two weeks of surrendering over 60 points, the Shorthorn defense didn’t allow a first down for nearly a quarter and a half last Friday in Kenedy.

Lady Horns start district with sweep of Louise, five-set win over Shiner

To start District 27-2A play last week, the Lady Horns took care of Louise in straight sets and prevailed in a back-and-forth, five-set match over Shiner to improve to 24-12 on the season.The Lady Hornets fell by margins of 14, 13, and 12 in the three games at Schulenburg ISD Gym on Tuesday.
