Lunches are available to those 60 and older at the CCA Center, 1107 Hillje Ave. The menu includes:

•Monday, March 23 – Coconut chicken, fried brown rice, spring vegetables, wheat bread, fresh fruit, margarine.

•Tuesday, March 24 – Barbecue pork rib patty, chuckwagon corn, lemon zest broccoli, Texas bread, fresh fruit.

•Wednesday, March 25 – Chicken etouffee, black-eyed peas, medley cabbage, cornbread, chocolate pudding, margarine.

•Thursday, March 26 – Roast beef with gravy, mashed sweet potatoes, green beans, wheat bread, fruited cherry gelatin.

•Friday, March 27 – Italian shells and cheese, parslied carrots, squash medley, whole wheat breadstick, fresh fruit.

Note: Milk is served with every meal.

Anyone interested is asked to call Mary Ann Firasek at 743-4036. Meals need to be ordered or cancelled a week in advance. The order goes in on Monday for the next week. A donation of $2 per meal is requested.

Volunteers are needed, especially drivers, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Monday through Friday.

The Center is open weekdays from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and the meals are served at 11:30 a.m.
