After raising concerns over the cost of refurbishing two pedestrian bridges in Wolters Park, the Schulenburg City Council voted to table the proposal at its regular meeting Monday, Dec. 7. City Administrator Tami Walker presented the agenda item as an unbudgeted project. Like other problems, it was found that redoing the bridges had been neglected over the years, she said.
