Nobody likes to be underpaid. Lower wages say we’re worth less than say, Bob or Barb, when we know we work harder than them.
So we keep a sharp eye out, comparing our paycheck value with others, to be sure that life, or at least our employer, treats us fairly.
But those negotiations have no place in God’s kingdom.
