The Fayette County Commissioners Court removed the ban on outdoor burning during its meeting on Thursday, Sept. 10.
Recent rains received across the county contributed to lifting the burn ban. Prior to allowing outdoor burning, the commissioners acknowledged that the volunteer fire department chiefs across the county had responded in favor of the move.
