Joyce K. Terrell, 84, of Weimar, passed away Monday, Aug. 31 in her home in Weimar with family beside her.

She was born on Feb. 11, 1936, in Dubina to Jim and Marcella Korenek. Joyce was a longtime faithful member of Weimar Church of Christ. When the church doors opened, she was there even if she was using her walker. One time each month, she attended Elder-Fest luncheons and enjoyed the games along with socializing. She also belonged to the Ladies Evening Circle and loved being the greeter at the church door. Joyce was an avid gardener and many photos were taken by her beautiful rose garden. She loved playing in domino and tarock tournaments and has the trophies to prove she was a professional at it.

She is survived by four children, Bryant Terrell, Debra Bradford and hus

She is survived by four children, Bryant Terrell, Debra Bradford and husband Wade, Karen Kulow and husband Daryl and Bruce Terrell. She also leaves 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. She will be sorely missed.

There will be a memorial service for Joyce on Saturday, Sept. 12 at 10 a.m. under the pavilion at the Masonic Cemetery in Weimar, officiated by Pastor Glen Schoenenberg.
