1939 - 2024 Margie Mae Plant, 84, passed away at Shady Oaks Nursing Home in Moulton on Monday, April 1, 2024. Margie was born on July 20, 1939 in Schulenburg in the family home to Marie (Dusek) and Victor Holub.

Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, Marilyn Sue (Susie) Herzik Hembree, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 6, 2024. She was at home with her children by her side at the time of her passing.

Anita Albina Proske, a beacon of love and kindness, passed away peacefully on Satuday, March 30, 2024, at the age of 88 in La Grange. Born on May 7, 1935, in Moravia, she spent her childhood and early adulthood there, forming lasting bonds and memories that she would carry with her throughout her life.

Vivian Alana Brauner Wyatt passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2024 at the age of 75, after an 8-year battle with dementia. She received care from Parkview Manor Nursing Home over the last 1½ years as well as Hospice South Texas.

Milton James Barta, 85, of Victoria, passed away on Monday, March 4, 2024 at 10:50 p.m. at Post Acute Medical Center after a three-month illness.

BENNIE JANECKA Bennie Victor Janecka was born on Jan. 22, 1939, in Weimar, to Victor and Annie Janecka.

Joyce Marie Casiraghi Besetsny was born Jan. 10, 1935 to Italian immigrants, Arturo Casiraghi and Louisa (Pasquali) Casiraghi, and welcomed by her big brother “Sonny” ! She grew up in West Austin, in the community known as Clarksville, and attended St Mary’s Academy in her younger years, later graduating from Austin High School in 1952.

SKIP MILLER William James Miller Jr., known as Skip, was born Nov. 29, 1939, to Maxine Sengelmann Miller and William J.
