Steffek, Fowlkes to wed

Marty and Casey Steffek, the late Karen Kostelnik Steffek, and Johnny and Kim Fowlkes III, all of Hallettsville, are pleased to announce the upcoming marriage of their children, Kelsey Beth Steffek to Cody John Fowlkes.

The bride-elect is a 2013 graduate of Hallettsville High and a 2017 graduate of Texas A&M University. She is employed by the Texas Department of Transportation in Yoakum as an environmental specialist. The prospective groom is a 2012 graduate of Hallettsville High and a 2016 graduate of Texas A&M University. He is employed by MGC Contractors of New Braunfels as a project engineer.

Kelsey is the granddaughter of Robert and Leona Steffek and Ann Kostelnik and the late Henry Kostelnik Sr., all of Hallettsville. Cody is the grandson of Kay Fowlkes and the late Johnny Fowlkes Jr., of Schulenburg.

The happy couple is to wed on Saturday, Jan. 16, 2021 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Koerth.
