The Schulenburg ISD board of trustees has rescheduled its regular meeting for Wednesday, Feb. 24 starting at 6 p.m. at the Schulenburg ISD cafeteria, 521 Shorthorn Drive.

Navidad Valley CattleWomen are slated to meet on Wednesday, Feb. 24 at Oakridge Restaurant in Schulenburg with a Dutch-treat supper at 6 p.m. followed by a speaker to open the meeting.
Author Belinda Goodrich is on the agenda to talk about her book, Get It Done: The Simple Process for Finding Harmony by Destroying Your To-Do List, as well as her new life as a rancher in the Moravia area.
Navidad Valley CattleWomen is a local chapter of Texas CattleWomen that has been serving Fayette, Colorado and Lavaca counties since 2004. The NVCW leadership encourages any ladies interested in learning more about the organization to come to a meeting. NVCW membership does not require being an active beef producer, though many members are. Some are retired, some are involved through their businesses, and some simply love beef and are interested in promoting rural living and sustaining the agricultural practices that feed the planet.

American Legion McBride Post 143 and Auxiliary will hold their next monthly meetings on Tuesday, March 2 at the American Legion Home in Schulenburg beginning at 7 p.m.
