After about an hour and 45 minutes of back-and-forth action between two evenly-matched teams in Caldwell last Thursday, Thrall claimed the Class 2A Region IV title in five sets over Schulenburg.
The Lady Horns finished their season with a 25-9 record and District 27 championship while the Tigerettes took a 23-6 mark into the state semifinals this week against Iola.
