As of Jan. 5, total intake at the Gardenia E. Janssen Animal Shelter stood at 23 for the year 2024– eight dogs and 15 cats in need.
As of Jan. 5, the shelter had 70 animals in its care – 36 dogs and 34 cats. This number includes animals in the facility, in foster care for medical reasons, waiting on available space, or awaiting transport to rescue partner.
