A benefit barbecue pork steak dinner for Jimmy and Cindy Carter will be held on Friday, May 17 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Schulenburg Hall, 405 South St.

Decoration Day at Old High Hill Cemetery will be held on the same day, May 5. The Old High Hill Cemetery is located about three miles northwest of Schulenburg on FM 2672.
