Every spring, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Champion Valley has the opportunity to attend the Texas Summit hosted by the Texas Alliance of Boys & Girls Clubs. This year, board secretary Terri Brasher (left) and Columbus Club director Mariza Ortiz-Verde (right) represented Boys & Girls Clubs of Champion Valley. Summit is a two-day conference featuring sessions focused on board and staff development, area council meetings, and insights into what’s new at the Texas Alliance level.
