Edwin Ryba Jr.

Edwin Ryba Jr., 76, of Schulenburg, passed away on Friday, April 12, 2024.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at 2 p.m. at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, with Fr. Luke Prihoda officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 1 p.m. at the church, with the parish rosary to be recited at 1:30 p.m. Entombment will follow in the St. Rose Mausoleum. Pallbearers will be Julian Lee Rojas III,Tyler Anthony Ryba, Branden Scott Ryan, Joseph Ryan Ryba, Brandon Ryba and Austin Ryba.

Born on Aug. 15, 1947 in Weimar, he was the son of Edwin Sr. and Angelina (Peterek) Ryba. He was a loving uncle, an amazing loving church-going gentleman and he was all about his family.

Survivors include his nieces and nephews, Lori Ryba Rojas, Stacie Ryba Esparza, Randy Ryba, Theresa Henrietta Ryba Citizen and James Ryba. Preceding him in death were his parents and a brother, Jimmy “Jimbo” Ryba, Schwenke-Baumgarten Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
