Harry William Klapuch of Moravia passed away on Sunday, Dec. 6, 2020 at Schulenburg Regency Nursing Center after a short illness at age 91 years, 5 months.

Funeral services were held on Friday, Dec. 11 at 2 p.m. at Ascension of our Lord Catholic Church in Moravia, with Msgr. John Peters officiating. Interment took place in the Moravia SPJST Cemetery. Pallbearers were Dale Janak, Wayne Janak, Kenward Janak, Hilbert Henke, Thomas Neskora and Vernon Meazle. Rosary was said at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the church, led by Robert Kendall.

Born in Moulton on July 6, 1929, he was the son of Willie and Hermina (Konvicka) Klapuch. He attended Schulenburg High School and served in the U.S. Air Force. Besides Moravia, he lived in Houston and worked as a machinist at Texas Iron Works in Houston.

He is survived by several cousins. Preceding him in death were his parents, Willie and Hermina (Konvicka) Klapuch.

Schwenke-Baumgarten Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
