As of Aug. 11, total intake at the Gardenia E. Janssen Animal Shelter stood at 1,093 for the year– 522 dogs and 571 cats in need.
As of Aug. 11, the shelter had 114 animals in its care – 56 dogs and 58 cats. This number includes animals in the facility, in foster care for medical reasons, waiting on available space, or awaiting transport to rescue partner.
