The Gardenia E. JanssenAnimal Shelter continues to take in, on average, 32 dogs and cats each week.
As of Oct. 20, total intake stood at 1,380 for the year– 640 dogs and 740 cats in need.
As of Oct. 20, the shelter had 136 animals in its care – 78 dogs and 58 cats. This number includes animals in the facility, in foster care for medical reasons, waiting on available space, or awaiting transport to rescue partner.
