As of Nov. 3, total intake at the Gardenia E. Janssen Animal Shelter stood at 1,434 for the year– 665 dogs and 769 cats in need.
As of Nov. 3, the shelter had 131 animals in its care – 70 dogs and 61 cats. This number includes animals in the facility, in foster care for medical reasons, waiting on available space, or awaiting transport to rescue partner.
