As of Dec. 8, total intake at the Gardenia E. Janssen Animal Shelter stood at 1,531 for the year– 710 dogs and 821 cats in need.
As of Dec. 8, the shelter had 88 animals in its care – 38 dogs and 50 cats. This number includes animals in the facility, in foster care for medical reasons, waiting on available space, or awaiting transport to rescue partner.
