Turtle Wing Foundation announces $15,000 in matching funds for its end-of-year “Giving Wings” campaign, thanks to JBar- B Foods and Freyburg Hall.
Turtle Wing, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, continues to serve hundreds of families who have children with learning challenges, connecting them with the needed services to be successful, helping them afford those services, and creating new opportunities.
Last year, over 300 individuals and their families received services funded by Turtle Wing, ranging from speech therapy to after-school art class. Over 3,500 sessions of therapy, over 500 tutoring sessions, over 300 hours of social skills, over 700 sessions of after-school programs, and hundreds more hours of “Day Hab,” learning labs, case management and more were funded by Turtle Wing Foundation.
