Schulenburg Knights of Columbus Council 2902 recently received the Columbian award from the KC Supreme Organization.
The Columbian Award is given to those councils that excel in service to the community and the Catholic Church. In order to qualify for the Columbian Award, the council must annually conduct and report at least four major involvement programs in each of the sections – Community Programs, Faith Program, Family Programs and Life Programs.
Council 2902 was recognized for excellence in all four of those areas. Some of the good work the Schulenburg Council does each year includes:
