Moravia KJZT donates to fire dept. Moravia KJZT Society No. 44 The Annunciation recently donated to the Schulenburg Volunteer Fire Department. On hand representing the Moravia KJZT was Theresa Rerich and representing the Schulenburg Volunteer Fire Department was SVFD Chief Darren Guentert.
Second Chance Emporium in La Grange presented donations totaling $32,800 last week to three area organizations, as follows:
•A $20,000 donation went to to the Texas Czech Heritage & Cultural Center Inc. (TCHCC).
Monies donated will be used to further the TCHCC mission of preservation and education, through school tours and other no-charge educational programs for the public. The mission of the organization is to preserve and promote the history, language, culture and heritage of Texans of Czech ethnicity.
