The monthly outing included a stop at the Fluent medical marijuana facility, a movie at Lyric Theater in Flatonia and lunch at Edna’s Kitchenette. Attending were Cynthia Meyer, Alice Fajkus, Cindy Ferguson, Kitra Ruiz, Carolyn Moore, Darlene Williams, Stephanie Shroyer, Irene Janda, Annie Mae Ripper, Betty Helmcamp, Marilyn Mares, Shirley Machicek and Betty Mulholland.
Birthday honoree for July was Alfreda Ellison.
Speaker at both the Weimar and Schulenburg locations recently was Sandy Anderson of True Care Living Center in Columbus.
Senior Connections invites everyone for coffee, conversation and games on Monday, July 29. The meal will have a Mexican flare. Tamales donated by Carolyn Moore will be paired with enchiladas, Spanish rice, black beans and corn salad from Senior Connections. Moore will also donate desert.
