Brynlee Berger places third in Texas SWCD poster contest

    Brynlee Berger of Schulenburg and Ella Pineda of La Grange have been being recognized for their participation in the Texas Conservation Awards Program sponsored by Fayette Soil & Water Conservation District No. 341, the Texas State Soil & Water Conservation Board and the Association of Texas Soil & Water Conservation Districts.

    Berger placed third in the youth poster contest (grades 3-6 category) and Pineda placed second in the youth essay contest (ages 14-18 category).

    Berger and Pineda advanced to the Texas Conservation Awards Program after being selected as winners in the Fayette SWCD contests held earlier this year.
