A $1,000 scholarship has been awarded to Elise Flusche (right) by the American Legion Post 143 and Auxiliary in Schulenburg. Flusche is a graduate of Sacred Heart High School in Muenster. She is the granddaughter of Vernon and Connie Dittrich, with Vernon pictured at left. Flusche plans to major in digital media at Tarleton State University.
