Navidad Valley CattleWomen recently awarded $12,000 in scholarships to 11 area youth whose futures will impact the beef industry.
All applicants were high school seniors from Fayette, Colorado and Lavaca counties with an interest in agriculture. Their applications reflected their academic achievements, civic and church involvement, work ethic and plans for the future.
