The St. Rose Science Club kicked off its year on Thursday, Sept. 19 at American Kart Manufacturing (formerly Shaller Enjuneering), a local business that builds and markets go-karts!
Shavon Lewis, first grade teacher, led the students during this special meeting.
The first go-kart was built in 1981 in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. The go-kart is still operating to this day!
