Turtle Wing Foundation was established in honor of Jack Hooper, son of Chris and DeeAnn Hooper. Jack, who had been diagnosed with high-functioning autism at age 6, passed away on April 5, 2011. Turtle Wing Foundationcelebrated International Dot Day with a focus on inspired inclusion. The “dot” artwork behind the table was created by the Arts for Rural Texas art-after-school class in La Grange.

Below artwork created by the Arts for Rural Texas art-after-school class at Sacred Heart School in La Grange is “sensory dot dough” in a glass container. Visitors to the International Dot Day celebration were welcomed to remove the dough from the container and touch it.
