The Stanzel Family Foundation is now accepting scholarship applications for high school seniors graduating in 2026.The Joseph & Victor Stanzel Memorial Scholarship offers up to $15,000 to eligible students residing within the Schulenburg or Weimar school districts.
The Fayette County 4-H team of (from left) Crockett Guenther, Alexis Berckenhoff, Addison Berckenhoff and Kaisley Janecka competed in the SanAntonio Livestock Show & RodeoAg Product ID contest on Sunday, Feb. 22. The team placed 12th overall in the senior division. Guenther is a member of the Schulenburg 4-H, and the Berckenhoffs and Janecka belong to the Flatonia 4-H.
