Nine Fayette County 4-H members competed in the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo Dairy Judging Contest on Tuesday, March 3.The Fayette County 4-H Junior Green Team was the champion junior dairy judging team.

The Schulenburg High School one-act play cast and crew of “The Voice of the Prairie” by John Olive will have a dress rehearsal on Thursday, March 5 in the school cafeteria at 7 p.m. The public is invited.

Applications for Stanzel scholarship due Mar. 27

The Stanzel Family Foundation is now accepting scholarship applications for high school seniors graduating in 2026.The Joseph & Victor Stanzel Memorial Scholarship offers up to $15,000 to eligible students residing within the Schulenburg or Weimar school districts.
