SISD band travels to Washington, D.C. for Memorial Day Parade

The Schulenburg ISD band performed in the 2023 National Memorial Day Parade in Washington, D.C. on Monday, May 29 as an “Official Representative of Texas.” The mile-long parade route ran along Constitution Avenue.
Grades 4-8 students attaining the high honor roll each nine weeks for the 2022-23 school year were (front row, from left) Clare Besetzny, Briley Hartensteiner, Cal Schiffli, Abraham McBride, (middle row) Bo Brossmann, Holden Holub, Weston Hollas, (back row) Lillia Wotipka, Jenna Guentert and Valerie Sedlar.

St. Rose students receive honor roll certificates for 2022-23 school year

St. Rose of Lima Catholic School students who attained the honor roll or high honor roll each nine weeks of the 2022-23 school year received certificates at the end-of-school awards presentation.

Sponsors being sought for Festival Pageant

Sponsors are being sought for the 2023-24 Schulenburg Festival Scholarship Pageant. Sponsor help of $200 – or any amount – will be utilized to help defray the cost of pageant items, float upkeep, scholarships and more.
