The Shorthorn Marching Band competed in the Brazos Valley Marching Festival on Monday, Oct. 6 in Caldwell. Braving the heat with no clouds, the students performed well and with pride, and band director James Willbanks was very proud of their efforts.

Schulenburg Knights of Columbus Council 2902 Sportsman made a $ 2,000 donation to the St. Rose Booster Club used toward the purchase of the AccuSpike machine used by the Cardinal volleyball team.
