The Fayette County 4-H senior division team of (from left) Elena Supak, Eleanor Carey and Tori Newton competed in the National Food Challenge contest on Tuesday, Sept. 30 at the State Fair of Texas in Dallas and took home the reserve champion National 4-H Food Challenge title.

The Cardinal volleyball A-team won third place at the La Grange volleyball tournament on Saturday, Sept. 27. The Cardinals fell in the first match of the day to the host La Grange eighth grade A-team by the score of 25-14 and 25-22. In the second match, the Cardinals defeated Serbin 25-9 and 25-15.
