Koehne on Provost’sHonor Roll at UMHB

The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor announces that 516 students have been listed on the spring 2024 Provost’s Honor Roll, including Lauren Koehne. To receive this recognition, a student must achieve a 3.85 grade point average (GPA) or better on a 4.0 scale.

The inaugural recipients of the Wanda Johnson Beaudry Stanzel Memorial Scholarship have been officially announced.This scholarship, established by Ted Stanzel in partnership with the Stanzel Family Foundation, commemorates the legacy of Wanda Johnson Beaudry Stanzel, who passed away in 2021.

Drabek makes Dean’s List at Southern Arkansas University

Abegayle M. Drabek earned a 3.5 grade point average or higher for the spring 2024 semester at Southern Arkansas University, securing her a position on the Dean’s List.Drabek is a sophomore animal science major and 2023 honor graduate of Flatonia High School.

Schulenburg ISD is participating in the USDA Seamless Summer Option (SSO) during June and July which means that the school is providing free meals to all students during this time.When a child participates in this healthy and delicious school meals program, it can save the family time and money.

Millionaire Readers Club students recognized at St. Rose awards banquet

Members of the Millionaire Readers Club were recognized at the annual St. Rose of Lima Catholic School awards banquet held at the KC Hall on Tuesday, May 21.These St. Rose junior high students have accomplished the phenomenal goal of reading over one million words during the 2023-24 school year.
