Driver tries to discard drugs during traffic stop by deputy near Flatonia
Drugs confiscated during a traffic stop near Flatonia included a white powdery substance that field-tested positive for cocaine as well as psilocybin mushrooms.
A traffic stop in the Flatonia area resulted in a drug arrest on Friday, Aug. 18, according to a report from the Fayette County Sheriff's Office.
At approximately 9:45 p.m., Deputy Cody Williams made the traffic stop on a vehicle for an infraction. As the vehicle was pulling over to stop, Deputy Williams observed two baggies being thrown from the vehicle.
