Closing a busy year, Great State Republicans will have two speakers at the Monday, Nov. 28 meeting at 7 p.m. at St. Peter Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall in Hallettsville.
First, Texas Federation of Republican Women president Kit Whitehill from Coppell will talk about the election cycle and what to expect in 2023 with the legislature.
The other speaker will be David Balat from the Texas Public Policy Foundation. Balat has been a professional healthcare executive and a former hospital CEO who specialized in finance and business development. He received his undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Houston, and his Master of Business Administration and Master of Healthcare Administration from the University of Houston-Clear Lake. He will discuss “Medicare for All” solutions and how to take control of healthcare costs.
