Money laundering, warrant arrest made during traffic stop on I-10 near Flatonia
$24,725 in U.S. currency was confiscated along with drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop on I-10 near Flatonia with which the Fayette County K-9 unit assisted.
A money laundering and warrant arrest was made by Interdiction Investigator David Smith during a traffic stop on Interstate 10 about two miles east of Flatonia on Wednesday, Sept. 14, according to Fayette County Sheriff Keith Korenek.
Sheriff Korenek reports that at approximately 1:27 p.m., Smith stopped a Hyundai SUV for a traffic infraction on I-10 westbound near the 664 mile marker.
