The Schulenburg American Legion Auxiliary Unit 143 conducted the POW/MIA table ceremony at the recently held Legion andAuxiliary meeting at the Post 143 hall.
Patricia Hranicky (left) and Debbie Behlen prepared the table and explained the meaning of all the items on the table. This was held to remind everyone that over 82,000 Prisoners of War (POW) and Missing in Action (MIA) members of the armed forces are still unaccounted for – approximately 73,515 from WWII; 7,840 from the Korean War; 1,625 from the Vietnam War; and 130 from the Cold War and conflicts since then.
