Two fire depts. respond to house fire in Cistern
These photos, submitted by Betty Danner of Cistern, show the two-story home fully engulfed (at left) and in rubble on the ground after the fire (at right). The street sign in the foreground of the left photo says St. Charles St., which is located in Cistern.
A 911 call reporting a structure fire near Highway 95 in the Cistern area was received by the Fayette County Sheriff's Office Dispatch Center on Monday, May 15 around 6:50 p.m., according to Sheriff Keith Korenek.
The Muldoon Volunteer Fire Department was notified and responded to the scene along with Deputy Austin Moore, EMS Unit Medic 4 and EMS 2 supervisor.
