Vehicle, foot pursuit end in arrest of Bastrop man

    Fayette County narcotics investigators made an arrest after attempting to stop a white 2003 Chevrolet SUV for a traffic violation in the Cedar Creek subdivision on Hrbacek street in the north part of La Grange on Wednesday, Oct. 5 around 12:15 p.m., according to Sheriff Keith Korenek.

    The SUV failed to stop and a pursuit ensued through the subdivision, with the vehicle turning on Von Minden. The pursuit continued as the SUV turned on FM 2145 traveling north.

    DeputyA.J. Gonzales joined the pursuit as other Fayette County deputies responded. The vehicle turned in a driveway on FM 2145 just before Chaparral Estates.
