Hunter safety certification class set July 17 in Weimar

Friends of the Weimar Public Library will offer a hunter safety certification class on Thursday, July 17. Any person born after Sept. 1, 1971 is required to have this certification card to hunt in Texas.

Program on cotton gins June 26 at Fayette library

The Fayette Heritage Museum & Archives invites the public to an evening focused on the early cotton gins of Fayette and Washington counties. The program will be held on Thursday, June 26 at 7 p.m. in the meeting room at the rear of the Fayette Public Library in La Grange.
