Sheriff’s Office gets donation for drones from Second Chance

The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office has been awarded grant funding from Second Chance Emporium in the amount of $12,000 to be used to purchase two DJI Mavic 3T drones. These drones can be used to assist deputies in a variety of situations encountered by law enforcement personnel.

Great State Republicans to hold meeting

At the Great State Republicans meeting on Monday, Feb. 24, Lavaca County Sheriff Steven Greenwell, along with Lavaca County Attorney James Reeves, will share their views on how the two of them working together is making a tremendous difference in stagnant cases and getting criminals off the streets.
