Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller reported on Feb. 14 that the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) was alerted to a case in Frisco where a resident’s address was fraudulently used as the return address on boxes containing several unidentified seed packages.The sender reportedly used Stamps.

The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office has been awarded grant funding from Second Chance Emporium in the amount of $12,000 to be used to purchase two DJI Mavic 3T drones. These drones can be used to assist deputies in a variety of situations encountered by law enforcement personnel.

Great State Republicans to hold meeting

Fayette Electric Cooperative Inc. has partnered with EXO to inspect steel and concrete electrical poles within its service territory. The project began on Monday, Feb. 17 in the Weimar area, including Holman, Dubina, New Bielau, Osage and Oakland.
