Spring coyote control contest to start on Jan. 7

The Fayette County spring coyote control program will begin on Tuesday, Jan. 7 and conclude on April 30.The contest is being held to give landowners, producers and sportsmen an opportunity to assist in the control of coyotes in Fayette County.

Ledbetter VFD puts out vehicle fire on FM 2145

A 911 call reporting a vehicle fire on FM 2145 near Goehring Road in the Waldeck area was received by the Fayette County Sheriff's Office on Tuesday, Dec. 17 around 8:14 p.m., according to Sheriff Keith Korenek.
