Hunter safety certification class planned

Friends of the Weimar Public Library will offer a hunter safety certification class on Friday, July 19 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Weimar Junior High cafeteria Certification is required for hunters in Texas.Seating is limited and attendees must be registered to attend the class.

Hospitality training slated for May 20 in Fayetteville

Traffic stop on I-10 leads to drug, money laundering arrests

Drug and money laundering arrests were made by Drug Interdiction Investigator David Smith following a traffic stop on Interstate 10 on Tuesday, April 23, according to Fayette County Sheriff Keith Korenek.Sheriff Korenek reports that at around 11 a.m.
