Vehicle catches fire next to Kort's Korner in La Grange

Angela Hahn, Fayette County Emergency Management Coordinator, reports that the La Grange Volunteer Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire on Monday, March 25 at 1:32 p.m. at Kort’s Korner, located on Highway 77 just south of La Grange.

Fayette Electric Cooperative is excited to announce that Reagan Moreau, a sophomore from Fayetteville High School, and Rylynn Thumann, a sophomore from Weimar High School, will represent the cooperative in June on an unforgettable trip to Washington, D.C.

Fayette EMC gives ‘Turn Around, Don’t Drown’ tips

Each year, more deaths occur due to flooding than from any other thunderstorm-related hazard. The Centers for Disease Control & Prevention report that over half of all flood-related drownings occur when a vehicle is driven into hazardous flood water.
