Council awards bid for water line, street rebuild

A bid to replace water lines and reconstruct a street was awarded to WJC Constructors at last week’s Schulenburg City Council meeting. The Smithville-based company came in with the low bid of $1,134,912.51, some $3,000 under the $1,138,000 that the City budgeted for the work.
