Down to a third and final attempt at 5-feet, 4-inches, Meredith Magliolo came through at the UIL State Track & Field Championships.
The leap secured her a silver medal, which she won last year, but the Lady Horn junior took it one notch farther to clear 5’5” and claim the gold in the Class 2A high jump Friday at Mike A. Myers Stadium in Austin.
